UK Pre-decimal Coins

The old £sd system using Pounds, shillings and pence with 240 pennies = pound, 12 pennies = 1 shilling / 20 shillings = 1 pound, was replaced by the decimal system whereby 100 (new) pence = pound [ £1 ] on the 15th February 1971
