Clan MacMuppet

Clan MacMuppet is currently writing (oops, researching) its extensive history. I understand from one of the gentlemen on rec.heraldry that the right of Kermit MacMuppet of Bass to be the Chief of the Clan is to be challenged by someone calling herself Peigie MacMuppet of Bass (who claims to descend from one of the senior branches of the family), so Chief MacMuppet wants to be sure he has a watertight case.

Extensive rumours that Ms MacMuppet MacMuppet is now under police protection for her own safety have been described as purely malicious.

Clan MacMuppet is always looking for new members for the Clan Association. This Clan is now accepted on no less than THREE WHOLE NEWSGROUPS and thus can be clearly documented as being genuine. We've even had a couple of applications from the unwary . . .

I believe that someone is even now preparing a MacMuppet website with descent from Adam (at least). As attested in Anglo Saxon Chronicle or maybe Macbeth's Boke of Thanes, etc, etc, etc.

It should be added that the rediscovery of the Clan MacMuppet has brought another great benefit in that their Highland history (on the Bass Rock, which is clearly High) and the genealogy of their Chief (Kermit MacMuppet of Bass) have now been authenticated. Those nice people on rec.heraldry even helped with the Clan Coat of Arms which rh has now approved.

Coat of arms : A yellow rubber duck below a black helicopter with 3 griffon vultures as a crest.
There is one major sept, MacRowf.
